Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, is a bird sanctuary in the Mandya District of the state of Karnataka in India. It is the largest bird sanctuary in the state, 40 acres in area, and comprises six islets on the banks of the Kaveri river. Around 170 different species of birds have been recorded from Ranganathittu. The Bird Sanctuary offers guided boat rides during which trained staff will help visitors spot, identify, and learn about birds.
